ART BACKGROUND: I Began painting in oils in 1970.
My earliest influences were Jose Vives-Atsara, San Antonio, Texas, and Ettore DeGrazia, Tucson, Arizona. I had the opportunity to become personally acquainted with both of these artists.

1971: ASTROWORLD HOTEL COMMISSION. I completed 65 paintings in 18 months.

1972: AWARDED BEST OF SHOW BY JUDGE DALHART WINDBERG. River Art Show, sponsored by the River Art Group, San Antonio, Texas

1997-2008: EXHIBITED IN NUMEROUS QUARTERLY SHOWS SPONSORED BY THE AUSTIN VISUAL ARTS ASSOCIATION (AVAA). Daugherty Art Center, Austin, Texas

2016-2019: EXHIBITED IN NUMEROUS BI-MONTHLY, JURIED SHOWS SPONSORED BY THE WIMBERLEY VALLEY ART LEAGUE (WVAL). My paintings were awarded in numerous WVAL shows.

2017-2018: I taught 3 fully attended workshops in partnership with the Wimberley Valley Art League (WVAL), plus workshops in my home studio.

2017-2019: I conducted weekly ‘Tuesday’ and ‘Thursday’ painting sessions in my home studio for painters of all experience levels.
