My work explores the many ways we are interconnected:
to ancestors, archetypes, and mythology to the environment and fellow life-forms and to each other. Working in clay, stone and lost-wax bronze, I focus on how these inter-connections inform and strengthen us as we live our lives. Beyond time, beyond words, sculptures are for me a vehicle for expressing and honoring the power of spiritual strengthening gleaned from interconnections. As I struggle to survive and savor, to understand and contribute to life, I express these connections through sculpting. |
